Keith Richards Snorts Horcruxes

I was inspired by my friend Gerarda's blog posts, and decided to start up this blog. Now that I've this blog, I'm not sure what to blog about! There's so many topics in this world; how am I supposed to coherently discuss one?!

Since Keith Richards just released his autobiography, I am going to discuss things you should not snort. There are a variety of things you should not snort. Pencil shavings, rat poison, slip 'n slides, easy cheese, and with significant emphasis, PARENTS. I love Keith, I do, but snorting objects that used to be people just isn't right.

While I prefer my rock musicians falling out of coconut trees instead of snorting a parent; I miss the crazy antics of musicians. Most mainstream musicians are as fascinating as beige walls. Lady Gaga and Kanye West are the only people who do crazy things, and they just do it for the press. What happened to excitement of the business? The spontaniety of it all. In the words of B.B. King, 'The Thrill is Gone.'

We're a pretty jaded society. Gone are the days of people being shocked by drug arrests. Drug arrests are now a very common occurance. Tirades? A tad shocking, but not overly so.

I'm not saying that I want musicians suffering several drug addictions or going on tirades, but can't they have some personality? Bob Dylan is a great example. He didn't play to the press, but he still had so much personality. But with today's musicians, there's not a lot going on musically, and there's usually not much going on personality-wise. Just a bunch of people trying to sound like what other popular bands/singers sound like.

Do you agree? Do you profusely disagree with me? Thought of some other objects you shouldn't snort? Leave Leave a comment!

I leave you with a song that's kind of-ish related to Keith, that crazy kid. It's a great cover by a great group.
